About

As every year, IJC is organized entirely on a voluntary basis by jugglers, whose sole purpose is to promote juggling in Israel out of a sense of dedication and love for the art.
All the money that goes into the convention funds is intended for organizing future events and also teaching juggling as a therapeutic tool in special education schools.

As part of the ideology on which the convention is based, and with the aim of supporting those who need it and involving the community, the Israeli Juggling Convention hosts groups of children with special needs for a day of juggling workshops and fun at Gan HaShlosha. More details on the activities for the community .

The 29th convention will take place between the dates April 24-28, 2024 (Passover week) in Gan HaShlosha (“HaSachneh”).

Procedure for entering the convention site:
The entire convention site (the hall and the camping area) will be a closed area that will be open only to those wearing a personal bracelet tag. Upon arrival, those who paid will receive their receipt, bracelet tags, and event tickets near the national park’s south gate.
Please note it is not near “Tower and Stockade” parking lot as it used to be in previous conventions.

Each participant will receive a personal bracelet that can not be transferred from person to person, and this bracelet will be used for all convention days.
Please note: it will not be possible to enter and set up tents without arranging payment and receiving bracelets for all participants!
After receiving the bracelet, participants will be able to take part in all activities during the convention, as well as come and go from the convention site in and out of other parts of Gan HaShlosha freely.

If this is your first IJC, please note the following information:
This is a convention for jugglers, not a regular festival for the general public (other than most performances which are suitable for everyone).
The main shows are not necessarily for youngsters.
Jugglers are a very friendly people – feel free to ask for help or advice, just keep in mind that they are there to practice, not to entertain you.
Several  beginner workshops will be held daily, however most of the workshops are for those who already know the basics.

The participation of minors under the age of 18 without the presence of a responsible adult is subject to parental approval.

Each juggler brings with them their personal equipment to the convention. Even props that look like they’re just thrown in the hall belong to someone.
You must ask the permission if you want to use unattended juggling props.
Of course when you finish, put them back in place. Also, please ensure that children do not walk around unattended in the hall, as there are objects that are falling from great heights…
