About the IJC

Like every year, the convention is entirely organized by volunteers—jugglers whose sole purpose is to promote juggling in Israel out of a sense of dedication.
All funds collected for the convention are allocated for organizing the next convention and for teaching juggling as a therapeutic tool in special education schools.

As part of the ideology on which the convention is based, and in order to support those in need while involving the community, the Israeli Juggling Convention hosts groups of children with special needs for a day of juggling workshops and recreation at Gan HaShlosha National Park.
More details about this initiative can be found here.

The 31st Israeli Juggling Convention

The convention will take place from April 3–7, 2026 (during Passover) at Gan HaShlosha (“Sakhne”).
The dates and number of participants may be subject to change based on event regulations in effect at the time.

Entry Procedure to the Convention Area:

The entire convention area (both the main hall and camping site) will be enclosed within Gan HaShlosha.
First, attendees must pay separately for entry to Gan HaShlosha, in accordance with the special price list for convention participants (detailed later).
Then, they should proceed to the convention area, which will be accessible only to attendees wearing a personal convention wristband.
Wristbands for pre-registered participants will be distributed at the registration booth located near the southern gate of Gan HaShlosha (a different location from previous years).
Each participant will receive a personal, non-transferable wristband that will grant access for the entire duration of the convention.

Important!
Entry to the convention area, setting up tents, or bringing in equipment is not allowed before physically arriving at the registration booth, completing payment, and receiving the wristband.
Once registered and wearing a wristband, participants may freely enter and exit the convention area to Gan HaShlosha and take part in all activities.

Minors Under 18 – Participation Rules:

Minors under the age of 18 can only participate if all the following conditions are met:

They must be accompanied by an adult over 24 years old.
The accompanying adult must be present with the minors throughout the entire convention and be responsible for them.
The minor’s parents must provide a signed permission form allowing the minor to participate.
If the accompanying adult is not a parent, they must submit a pre-approved guardianship form in advance.
An adult can accompany up to 2 minors who are not their children.
These forms will be sent upon completion of registration and payment.

First Time at the Convention? Read This!

This is a convention, not a typical festival (except for the performances, which are open to all).
Activities are primarily aimed at professional and amateur jugglers, not the general public.
The main performances are not necessarily intended for children.
Jugglers are a friendly community—feel free to ask for help or advice! But keep in mind that they are there to train, not to entertain.
Several beginner workshops will be held daily, but most workshops are for those who already know the basics.
Juggling Equipment
Every juggler must bring their own equipment.
Even equipment that looks like it’s left unattended belongs to someone.
Always ask for permission before using someone else’s juggling props and make sure to return them properly.
Parents, please watch your children inside the hall—objects may fall from high places.

Rules and Important Information for All Convention Participants

Swimming in the natural pools is prohibited after 17:00 and requires the presence of a lifeguard.
Any activities in the park after this time are not insured—entering the pools after hours is a criminal offense. Anyone caught violating this rule will be removed from the convention.

Events

As every year, the convention will include many events, competitions, special shows, and more.

The Best Trick Competition in Memory of Avi Rosenberg

The competition will take place on the opening evening of the convention (Friday 3.4)

The Avi Competition is dedicated to the memory of Avi Rosenberg. Avi was one of the first jugglers in Israel and also participated in the first juggling convention held in Eilat in 1988.

The Avi Competition is funded by Avi’s family as a memorial to Avi, and also as an encouragement for young jugglers.
In their view, jugglers are kind, friendly, and noble people who bring a lot of good to the world.
If there were more jugglers, the world would be a better place.

Additional details about the competition and the list of winners over the years can be found on the competition page

Juggling Games

The Great Juggling Olympics scheduled to take place on the third evening (Sunday 5.4).

Top jugglers, circus performers, acro artists, and flow artists will gather to showcase their many skills!
Who will juggle 5 balls for the longest time?
Who will balance a club on their nose despite all the obstacles?
Who will win the 3-shekel juggling challenge and take home the entire prize?

All this, and more, at one of the convention’s highlight events!

Fight Night

The Great Club Combat Tournament will take place this year at the convention on the third night of the convention (Sunday 5.4).
As part of the International Club Combat league (“club combat”), the convention hosts the Middle East Championship in the sport.

The event will include qualifying rounds and a final, and the audience is invited to watch jugglers from around the world competing to win the coveted crown.
There’s plenty to look forward to: intensity, hugs, fighting spirit, and international-level commentary.

In order to reach the final, participants must first pass the qualifying competition stage.

The International Gala Show

The show will take place at the “Kimeron” performance hall on the second evening of the convention (Saturday night 4.4).
The performance will feature the best acts of the world’s leading jugglers whom we will host during the convention.

Viewing the show is conditional upon purchasing a ticket to the international show with pre-assigned seating.
Depending on demand, two performances of the show may take place.

About one hour before the show, a festive reception will be held at the entrance to the hall in formal evening attire, as per tradition.
You are invited to arrive appropriately dressed and take part in this unique experience.

Entry to the reception is permitted in suitable attire only.
Therefore, if you do not intend to participate in the reception, it is recommended to arrive close to the show’s start time.

Fire Gala

The Fire Gala tradition continues this year as well!
The show will take place on the final evening of the convention (Monday 6.4) on the amphitheater stage.

This year we are also planning to invite international fire artists to join the celebration and take part in a spectacular and original fire performance unlike anything seen before.
Additional details about the artists will be published soon on the guest artists page.

Together with local performers, the Fire Gala team is creating an original, unique, and diverse numbers show, showcasing the art of fire in all its forms. It is an evening of passion, creativity, and magic that invites you to surrender to the light and movement!

The show is open to all convention participants – join us for an unforgettable experience! 🔥

Entrance Fees for the 31st Israeli Juggling Convention:

Since the convention operates as a non-profit and the organization is carried out entirely by volunteers, we are able to keep the prices at a level that is almost unrealistically low relative to the value provided.

The payment listed in the detailed table is a discounted rate valid for early registration only.
After the early registration phase, depending on the number of registrants, additional registration may open.
The additional registration will be at full price, without the early registration discount.

Convention registration does not include a separate additional payment for entry to Gan HaShlosha Park where the convention takes place. This is an additional one-time fee, which must be paid at the Gan HaShlosha entrance gate before entering the convention.

Convention registration grants entry to the convention grounds and all activities taking place there.
Entry to the international show or a convention T-shirt are not included in the convention price.
The international show will take place at the “Kimeron” Hall in the Emek HaMaayanot Regional Council.
Transportation to and from the show from the convention grounds is provided at no additional cost.

Entrance Fees & Entry Procedures to “Gan HaShlosha – Sachne” for Convention Participants:

Convention registration does not include an additional payment for entry to Gan HaShlosha Park where the convention takes place.
Payment must be made at the park entrance gate, before entering the convention, as a one-time fee.

The payment to Gan HaShlosha is calculated according to the number of nights the participant takes part in the convention.
Any stay after the park closes to visitors (after 17:00), even for only a few minutes, will require payment for a full “night” fee even if you are not staying overnight in the park.

To make things clear, we have calculated in advance the expected cost according to your arrival date to the convention.
If you are planning partial participation that differs from these options and are unsure about the expected cost per participant upon arrival at Gan HaShlosha, please email us.

Rate calculated according to arrival date and stay until the end of the 31st convention:

*No double discounts or promotions apply to the payment to the park.
