Guest Artists
Every year we invite special guest artists to perform, teach workshops and conduct master classes. Among our guests in the past were some of the best jugglers in the world today. The full list can be found here.
This year we are once again focusing on an outstanding line-up of jugglers. These leading-edge artists will conduct numerous gratuitous master classes to convention attendees, and will also perform in the International show and the Special Guests Show. Both are full length shows at extremely cheap prices for jugglers, presented in a professional theatre located within five minutes walking distance from the convention site. Here is a brief description of our guests this year:

Matthias Romir - Stands for a kind of juggling, that is always searching for new ways and possibilities, that forms a unity of object, body and music. the shows are presented with a unique sense of humour and weird characters. shows, that tell silent stories by the way and also rock the croud. 
Lena Köhn - With elegance, innovation and her charming presence, Lena Köhn proves to be the best female solo-diabolist in the world. She spins several diabolos seemingly effortlessly, and surprises her audiences with new and spectacular moves.
Graciously precise, she performs astounding techniques in sophisticated patterns.
Her mesmerizing choreography presents a new quality and style of diabolo-juggling. 
Alexander Kulakuv - An 18 year old ring juggler from Russia. He has a unique and extraordinary style combining impossible tricks with fluid movement and contorted positions. Alexander amazed jugglers both at the EJC 2008 gala show and the crowd at the 29th "Festival Mondial Du Cirque De Demain" where he won the gold medal. 
Mike Rollins - an American/Irish street and stage juggler/commedian/MC/performer based in Italy. He has performed his shows "It's Not My Fault", "Head Case" and "Ben and Mike's Vaudeville Show" all over europe for various events, festivals and in the street. He is the founder, organizer, and artistic director of "Not Exactly Theatre"- an 8 person vaudeville style comedy group and teaches his course "Playing Skillfully- a study in object manipulation, movement, and stage presence" at Philip Radice's Atelier of Physical Theatre in Turin.

Ronan McLoughlin - It was fire that first attracted him to poi and in turn lead him to different juggling props and the movement and manipulation arts in general. However after experimenting with and being exposed to the possibilities of different props (especially contact juggling and club swinging, contact and manipulation), began to realise the limitations of learning in terms of fire spinning and began to approach poi from an object manipulation perspective.

Le BoTrio - Ben, Jok and Mik met at ESAC circus school in Brussels. One was juggling, the other jumping and the last one partner-acrobating. For an open stage in second year, they set up a little number "the monks", acrobatic stunts, humour and poetic stupidity… A little joke with big consequences. Why work alone if we can have more fun together ? Hiii Haaaaa, Le Botrio was born.
Combining their circus techniques, they come out with a juggling acrobatic mix on trampoline, all in one ! With "Rhythm & Beast", their latest number, they unleash once again their absurd humour, their fresh energy and their pleasure on a breathtaking rhythm (stunning !)Photo by Julie Feyaerts
Audrey Decaillon - recently captivated thousands at the European Juggling Convention in Athens, Greece. Audrey's unique style of club manipulation epitomizes the French school of juggling. Graceful yet adept, Audrey captivates with simple elegance and unique technical skills. Her work is about innovative technique with clubs while combining the emotions of childhood and innocence with the hysterical female pathology.
Frasier Hooper - Award winning clown Fraser Hooper has built a huge international following delighting audiences of all ages with his unique brand of contemporary clowning. With a nod to the great silent clowns he uses mime, audience participation, comedy juggling and eccentric dance delighting all ages in hilarious shows that receive rave reviews wherever he plays.
